Transitions we sit with.

All sessions are individual and for adults. Each transition below says who it helps, what sessions are like, and what it is not.

  • When a relationship ends

For adults after a divorce, a separation or a breakup who want steady company while daily life is rearranged. Sessions are 50 minutes: what happened, what is different now, and what you want to carry forward.

    • Method: talk therapy, drawing on psychodynamic work

    • What this is not: couples therapy, mediation or legal advice

    • Pace: your clinician sets it with you, with no promised number of sessions

    • Paid: see How fees work

    Start here
Two clear chairs side by side against a pale wall
  • When someone dies

For adults who have lost a parent, a partner or a friend. Sessions leave room for the person you lost, for the practical weight of it, and for the days when it comes back.

    • Method: talk therapy with attention to the body, drawing on Somatic Experiencing training

    • What this is not: a timetable for how you should feel

    • Pace: your clinician sets it with you, with no promised number of sessions

    • Paid: see How fees work

    Start here
Two women hold hands while talking in black chairs beside a plant
  • When family changes

For adults becoming a parent, sending a child off, or caring for an aging parent. Sessions are for you: what is changing, what it asks of you, and what you want to keep.

    • Method: relational, psychodynamic talk therapy

    • What this is not: family therapy or parenting coaching

    • Pace: your clinician sets it with you, with no promised number of sessions

    • Paid: see How fees work

    Start here
A woman in glasses and a grey cardigan talks with a woman who holds her hand on a sofa
  • When work changes

For adults after a layoff, a long leave, a new role or a decision to start over. Sessions look at what the change means beyond the job itself.

    • Method: talk therapy, drawing on psychodynamic and contemplative approaches

    • What this is not: career coaching or job placement

    • Pace: your clinician sets it with you, with no promised number of sessions

    • Paid: see How fees work

    Start here
A therapist in glasses takes notes as a young woman in a plaid shirt talks
  • When you move

For adults settling into a new city, a new country or a smaller home. Sessions make room for what you left and what you are building.

    • Method: talk therapy, in person or by video

    • What this is not: relocation help or immigration advice

    • Pace: your clinician sets it with you, with no promised number of sessions

The Process

How we begin together

Every start is different. This is the usual shape of the first weeks.

  1. A laptop and an open notebook on a white desk under the shadow of a window on a peach wall
    01

    A short call

Send a message and we'll set up a short call to talk about fit and answer your questions.

  2. Lace curtains beside a dark window with a view of trees
    02

    Getting to know each other

The first sessions are for your history, what has changed and what you want from the work.

  3. A swallowtail butterfly hangs beside empty chrysalises
    03

    The work itself

With some trust in place, we look at the patterns and decisions in front of you, at a pace that suits you.

  4. A seedling sprouting in a pot of dark soil
    04

    Ending when you decide

Therapy ends when you and Dr. Bellamy agree it is time. You can stop at any point.
